We were asked to read some reviews about some movies to see the way they were actually done and compare them with the ones that we wrote during our last class meeting.

        Seeing this reviews made by other people make me realize that my review was a little bit rusty. I should have made a better brief summary without giving away any information of course. I should have included some technical stuff besides the director and some actor's performance. I think a review could reflect a little bit of your own but at the same time is really important that you can also be as objective as possible, so the reader can decide if he wants to see the movie or not. Not every person is the same, we all have different tastes and opinions. After reading this I think I can do a better job as a movie critic and improve my review. 

Well, as an assignment we had to select two movies and write about them as a critic. We had to write about the best movie that we had seen recently, and the worst. I have to admit that I hadn't been able to visit to go to the movies since summer, so I decided to write about the ones that I saw then. 

      My dad bought me my first car a year ago. Since I was a little girl I always dreamed about having a VW Beetle. I was so excited when we were looking at it. I felt butterflies in my stomach. My knees were a little bit shaky when I sat on my Beetle for the first time. My dad and I spent the entire afternoon accesorizing and cleaning it. I just couldn't believe that finally I will have my own car to do all my stuff with full liberty. When I took it for a ride, it was truly amazing. I put my girly music on in a super high volume and sang so loud I couldn't hear the artists, the only thing in my head was my horrendous voice. I felt like the queen of the road. In my mind and in my heart it felt like I owned the entire world. I was truly happy. Since that moment, every time I use it I feel relax and happy. Driving my car is my relaxing time where I listened my music at the volume I want, think about my own stuff and just enjoy every single ride on my super awesome bug. 

   Recently we have been seeing a lot of marijuana related news. Marijuana has always being a motive of controversy between different kinds of people. Before giving my honest opinion about it I would like to introduce a little bit about the different point of views.  

       The conservative group claims that cannabis should continue to be illegal. They say that it is a harmful drug that has a lot of different effects on the body. Some people of this conservative group don’t approve the usage of cannabis even if it is for medical reasons. Cannabis has been demonstrated to act as a powerful drug against physical pain and is often recommended as a treatment medicine for different kinds of cancers. In the same group, there are some people that think that Marijuana should be illegal except for medical treatment. Actually, almost every country Marijuana is illegal for everyone, except for the ones having a prescription as a help for their pain. The other point of view claims that Marijuana should be legalized for medical purposes or recreational purposes.  These are considered to be the liberal ones. They claim that Marijuana has a lot of good effects besides controlling physical pain. Cannabis posses an ingredient that relaxes the body giving the person that is inhaling it the nice feeling of happiness. The liberal ones also establishes that legalizing the Cannabis could improve our economy and automatically reduce criminal activities. Besides, they tend to criticize the extremely harsh punishments given to the ones that are caught having it.

      Honestly, I don't have a lot to say about this controversy. I think that the world needs a lot of more important debates to discuss rather the usage of Cannabis. After analyzing both points of discussion, I think that legalizing it will be the best solution for everyone. Each of us has the capacity to decide for ourselves if we want to use it or not. As Miley's songs says "It's our life we can do what we want to". 


        

Romantic Escape

      Imagine a lost path with an ancient Beetle from 1965 on its side.  The road receives just the perfect amount of sun rays sneaking in through the branches of several trees. It seems like the right moment during the day, not too cold, not too hot. The picture seems to take place early in the morning when you can still see the plants sprinkled with dew. At the distance you can see a pile rocks, which because of the sunlight you has two different gray tones.  Walking towards the reader you can see a beautiful couple holding hands. The girl in the picture has a beautiful long blonde hair. She is dressed really fashionable with a long sleeve dress that shows her long legs completed with a brown belt around her waist. Above her dress she carries a white puffy cardigan. She is wearing these amazing flats brown boots that complete her look. The thing that immediately claims your attention is her eyes, looking towards the distance, giving you the sensation of being in love. Besides her, there is a beautiful, muscular, tall man that is dressed with a denim jacket and jeans. He also has a pair of brown boots making him look more stunning. He is looking towards the camera with a warm smile that feels like he is welcoming you. On his neck, he has a rosary that completes his look. Overall, this image gives you the sensation of being in love and feeling complete.
